Chief Investigator Phillips also mentioned Goods had a light bulb camera that potentially recorded previous drug purchases made at the residence, an apartment in Windsor Arms. The light bulb camera was confiscated and the footage will be reviewed for any additional criminal activity.

According to Investigator Phillips, Port Gibson is beginning to build a reputation as a drug hub, and he hopes that with the help of the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and Vicksburg Police Department Narcotics division that will change.

“We have a drug problem down here, and my thing is we need to get that straightened out. If you see somebody with drugs or they know where drugs are at, call the police department and let us know, cause I’m not standing for it,” Phillips said, “We’re trying to let the people know that we’re not standing for drugs in the city limits of Port Gibson.”
