One dead after domestic dispute

Vicksburg Police Chief Penny Jones has confirmed to the Vicksburg Daily News that one person has died as a result of a domestic dispute.

Friday evening, Jamal Stowers, no age given, was involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend. The domestic dispute between them escalated and resulted in the death of Jamal Stowers.

His girlfriend is in the custody of the Vicksburg Police according to Chief Jones.
