One dead and two injured in Blossom Lane shooting

Three people were shot in Warren County in the early morning hours on Saturday which resulted in the death of a 21-year-old.

A call came in shortly after 2:00 a.m., indicating that people were possibly struck by bullets at the Azalea Apartments on Blossom Lane. Warren County Deputies arrived on the scene and found a group of individuals gathered in the parking lot.

Three people were shot during this incident where one male and one female were both hit in the leg. The deceased was struck in the leg and the head. All three were transported to UMMC.

WCSO was working on the incident throughout the night and they are continuing to interview witnesses and looking at security footage from several locations. It is not clear at this time if any of the victims were the intended target.
