One dead in industrial accident in Vicksburg

Just before 9 a.m., a call to 911 reported an industrial accident that resulted in a fatality at the rock yard just off of Dorsey Street near the Waterview Casino.

The Coast Guard was called to the scene indicating the incident happened on the water. Yard owner Louis Miller was observed at the yard along with multiple Vicksburg police officers, Coroner Doug Huskey and Warren County Sheriff, Martin Pace.
