One eastbound lane of the Mississippi River Bridge closing Monday through Friday next week

Beginning Monday, May 11, the eastbound outside lane of Interstate 20 on the Mississippi River Bridge will be closed at approximately 9 a.m. and will remain closed until Friday, May 15, at approximately 4 p.m.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will be performing a routine bridge inspection during that time.

Major renovations on the eastbound side of the bridge is scheduled to begin Tuesday, May 26, and end Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021.
