One in custody after getting car stuck on railroad tracks

A Warren County resident is in custody after getting their vehicle stuck on railroad tracks.
Around 6:30 a frantic call to 911 reported a car was stuck on the railroad tracks near Klein and Pearl. An older sedan had the front wheels over the tracks in the closed section of the road and was unable to free the vehicle. There is no throughway on Klein over the tracks. That path was closed more than a dozen years ago after residents complained about the train whistle at all times of the day and night. Trains have to sound their whistle anytime they cross a roadway.
The driver of the vehicle, as yet unidentified, was at first detained and then taken into custody for suspicion of a DUI according to radio traffic.
KCS, the railroad operator, was contacted about the vehicle being stuck on the tracks and reported no trains are scheduled for that part of the tracks this evening.
The vehicle is being towed from the area.
