One million doses of the vaccine have been administered in Mississippi

Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves held a press conference Monday afternoon, regarding a milestone achievement the state has achieved in COVID-19 vaccinations.

In a Monday afternoon press conference, Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves announced that Mississippi has reached the milestone of administering the one millionth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Reeves held the event at Trustmark Park in Rankin County, which has been serving as a mobile vaccination site.

As of Saturday, Warren County had administered over 16,000 doses, according to information from the Mississippi Department of Health.
