One person injured in crash on Hwy 27

One person was injured in an accident at the 6500 block of Mississippi Highway 27 Wednesday.

At 1:40 p.m. responders were dispatched to the accident scene, where a sedan left the road and had a violent crash.

One person was transported to the hospital for treatment, the extent of their injuries is unknown.

Traffic is flowing normally in the area, however, drivers are encouraged to use caution traveling the rain-slicked roads.
