One person injured in wreck on Halls Ferry Road

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN)-At around 5:30 p.m. Sunday, a two car collision on Halls Ferry Road near U.S. Interstate 20 left at least one individual with injuries.

Initial reports indicate that injuries associated with the crash are minor, but significant damage to the vehicles – both of which deployed all airbags – illustrate the force of the impact.

One person involved in the accident was receiving treatment from medics at the scene.

Numerous law enforcement and fire personnel have responded to assist with the accident.

Traffic on the busy section of roadway will be impacted until responders can clear the scene.
