One person has been shot and killed on Harrison at Cherry Street on Tuesday night.
According to Police Chief Penny Jones, a black SUV drove by and called the name of a person walking on Martha at Harrison warning them to watch themselves. Moments later the same vehicle drove by once again and opened fire.
The victim was struck and ran a short distance before they collapsed on Cherry Street.
It appears that the victim knew his attacker since a warning was shouted out as the SUV left and returned to open fire.
The Vicksburg Fire Department, Rescue and a fire medic unit responded to the scene along with Warren County Coroner Doug Huskey who pronounced the victim deceased.
