One Shot in Warren County; Others Injured
Warren County, Miss.-One individual was shot in Warren County in the early morning hours on Saturday. Another person was also injured in the shooting, according to Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace.
At approximately 3:40 a.m., a 30-year-old male arrived at the Emergency Room with a gunshot wound to the leg. Moments later, a second individual arrived at the Emergency Room due to shattered glass being stuck in his eye. A third injury also occurred when someone came to the ER moments later after being a a car wreck at the entrance of the hospital. They were transporting one of the victims to the hospital.
The investigation is in its early stages but it appears that two individuals got into an argument on Green Hill Road off Highway 80 when one male shot the other. It also appears that the gunman missed a few shots which struck another vehicle that caused the shattered glass to be stuck in the bystander’s eye. The bullet came from the passenger side.
Pace mentioned that the shooter has not yet been positively identified. The condition of the victims is unknown at this time.
