One teen dead, another injured after ATV crash in Carroll County

A Carroll County teen died as a result of an ATV wreck on Friday, WLBT reports.

On Friday, Carroll County authorities were dispatched to County Road 286. Two teens were involved in a crash in the northern part of the county.

Leah Fielder, 17, was pronounced dead at the scene. Kaycie Clements suffered severe injuries and was airlifted for treatment.

Sheriff Clint Walker offered his prayers and condolences to both families.

“We pray that the Lord will be near to them during these most difficult days and thereafter. We also ask everyone to remember to keep Kaycie in your prayers for complete healing as well,” said Walker.
