One wounded at early morning South and First North shooting
An early Sunday morning shooting in Vicksburg has left one person wounded.
Vicksburg Police responded to a report of shots fired around 2 a.m. at South and First North streets.
Witnesses said that they heard about eight or nine shots ring out at what’s known as the Rodney Store.
One person was shot multiple times and was transported by ambulance to receive treatment. He was alert and speaking with first responders at the scene.
