Opal Jean Heigle, 1931 – 2022
Opal Jean Heigle passed away Friday, June 3, 2022, surrounded by her children. She was 91 years old.
Jean was born in Hamilton, Alabama to the late James Elmon and Gertha Mae Burleson. She lived in Rolling Fork, Mississippi where she helped her late husband Harold Dean Heigle on the family farm and was a home maker.
She is preceded in death by her siblings Early Mitchell, L.D. Burleson, Carl Burleson, Ruel Burleson, James Euel Burleson, and Clayton Burleson,
She is survived by her son Dennis B. Heigle, daughters Gail H. Clark (C.J.) and Denice Mann (David), sisters Ava Cleveland, Mary Burke, and Maxine Gipson, grandchildren Tiffany Perry, Neil Mann, Emily Clark, and Jordan Clark, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Rolling Fork Church of Christ with Rev. Lee Suddeth and Rev. Norman Maranto officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, at the Church. Burial will follow in County Line Cemetery in Glen Allan, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be J.P. Pickle, Neil Mann, Jordan Clark, Corey Mann, Matthew Mann, Camden Putt, Trey Lewallen, and John David Mann. Honorary Pallbearers will be Deacons of the Church of Christ.
