Outside fire reported on Oak Ridge near Possum Hollar

A field is reported to be on fire in the 15000 area of Oak Ridge. The call came in at 1:55 p.m., 10 minutes after a grass fire was reported on 61 south.

This is the fourth fire call in 2 hours for county firefighters to respond to an outside fire.

Conditions are perfect for grass and brush fires to quickly spread over a large area. Warren County Fire Boss Jerry Briggs has pleaded for Warren County residents to stop any outside burning until conditions improve.
