Over 1000 still without power, school busses are running

A strong line of thunderstorms with possible tornadoes pounded Warren County last night causing thousands to lose power.

This morning over 1000 Warren County residents are still without power. Entergy reports 980+ without power and is working to fix the remaining outages. Almost 50 separate outages, each affecting a small number of homes, are being methodically repaired.

School buses are running this morning.

Warren County Emergency Management along with the 911 Call Center is verifying which roads are open from a large number of fallen trees last night. Dozens of reports of fallen trees and downed power lines were coming in several hours after the storm had passed through the community.
