Overnight fire claims a home on Jeff Davis

Fire claimed a home in the 1700 block of Jeff Davis just after midnight.

The first unit on the scene reported heavy flames and smoke showing from three sides. 602 from Letourneau and 302 from Fisher Ferry responded to the fire.

Tim Wood took charge of the incident and was assisted by numerous Warren County firefighters who got up in the middle of the night to help their neighbors. The structure was a complete loss.

This is the second fire at this address in the past three weeks. On Dec. 30, 2021, a vehicle fire was reported. This fire is under investigation.
