The City of Vicksburg recognized long-time employee Patrick Thomas on Friday, June 25, for 20 years of service with the city.

The Board of Mayor and Alderman presented Thomas with a certificate and offered their gratitude for his two decades of commitment and service to the city.

Thomas started working for the sewer department in 2001 and has worked diligently in the background ever since, performing a job that you really never see but also greatly impacts our quality of life.

The special recognition was well-earned. Thomas and his colleagues are the backbone that keeps our city going.

We thank Patrick Thomas for all the hard work he does and continues to do on the city’s behalf.
