Patriot Motorsports of Vicksburg has been recognized once again as the District Dealer of the Year for Can-Am Off-Road brand in the U.S.

Allen Pugh, owner of the company mentioned that this is a very emotional experience for him and his team. He took pride in announcing that this is the third time out of five years under his ownership in which the company has received this award. According to Pugh, this is a huge leap for Vicksburg, a small city that is competing against several other cities, “with populations of four, five, six and seven times the size.”

Patriot Motorsports is receiving recognition for its retail volume, market share performance, sales growth PA&A performance and certification status. The company will be presented with a plaque to showcase the achievement by the district sales manager.

Pugh first purchased the dealership in 2017. He was asked to give a one-year plan, a five-year plan, and a plan for the years beyond. Aside from learning the industry and providing great service to Vicksburg and the surrounding areas, Pugh planned to expand and grow the dealership to its full potential as well as get Vicksburg on a national map. He and his crew have managed to tip the scales, even while navigating through two historic floods and two years of setbacks due to the pandemic.

“I think we’re winning all the way around. We’re getting recognition for the state of Mississippi and the City of Vicksburg and it’s a great feeling,” he said. With other cities to compete with such as Hattiesburg, Jackson, and Monroe, this is a big stride for Vicksburg. While Pugh doesn’t exactly look at other companies as competitors, it speaks volumes on what Vicksburg has been capable of achieving.

Pugh said his team is so proud of their accomplishments and that his dealership works so hard to bring great service to the city and surrounding areas. He credited his employees, sales team, technicians, and management. “We couldn’t do it without Vicksburg,” he went on, “Vicksburg is what makes us work.”
