Porter’s Chapel Academy baseball team took game one against Kemper Academy in an 11-0 win on Tuesday.

RBIs from Zach Ashley and Gavin Pugh gave the Eagles a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Doubles from Gage Palmer and John Wyatt Massey would push PCA’s lead to 5-0 by the end of the second.

PCA would profit highly from the third inning as they picked four runs where two came from errors and another two after a double from Massey.

Later on in the win, Taylor LaBarre would sacrifice and Ashley would hit a single that brought in the final two runs.

Palmer and LaBarre both struck out two batters. Palmer went 3 for 4 with two RBIs while Massey pulled in four RBIs with two hits. Chase Hearn and Lawson Selby both went 2 for 3 while LaBarre had one hit.
