PCA defeated Tri-County 72-39 on Friday

Porter’s Chapel Academy girl’s basketball now have a 13-5 record and are the No.1 seed in their district after taking down Tri-County 72-39 on Friday.

By halftime, the Lady Eagles had a 28-20 lead with Tiara Sims keeping things under control for PCA.

PCA’s defense really stepped up in second half along with their offense as Anjel Walton put up 11 in the third quarter alone. Sophie Masterson knocked down two 3-pointers in the quarter while Sims put up eight headed into the fourth.

Sims took over again in the final quarter to end the game with 34 points and five assists while Walton added 19 on the board. Masterson finished with three 3-pointers and 11 points while Hannah Henderson grabbed 14 rebounds and six points.
