PCA defeats Manchester Academy 61-29 in the district opener

Porter’s Chapel Academy boy’s basketball team took down Manchester Academy 61-29 in the district opener on Thursday.
The Eagles came out hot as Lawson Selby hit two 3-pointers while Noah Porter got off a couple of shots as they took the 16-5 lead. Ty Mack came out and contributed in the second quarter as well as Gavin White and Jase Jung who both hit 3-pointers to help PCA go up 30-14 at halftime.
Jung popped another 3-pointer in the second quarter and White hit a couple of free throws. As the fourth quarter approached, Selby continued to dominate along with Chase Hearn who who hit two 3-pointers as PCA took the 61-29 win.
Selby led with 20 points and five rebounds in the win and Jung added 10 points. Porter, Mack, and Taylor LaBarre each had six points while Hearn put up eight. Gavin White also scored five in the win.
