PCA Junior High softball team defeated Manchester 9-6 on Monday

Porter’s Chapel Academy Junior High softball team defeated Manchester Academy on Monday.

Audrey Carraway got the Lady Eagles on the board first when she hit a triple to bring in three runs.

Manchester also responded with three runs in the first inning to tie the game at three.

A RBI by Kyleigh Hearn and a couple of walks pushed PCA’s lead to 6-3 in the second before MA once again tied the game by the end of the inning.

On the third and final inning, the Lady Eagles capitalized from MA’s errors and scored from a passed ball and a single to win the game 9-6.

Mia Abdo pitched in the win while Hearn and Abdo each had two hits. Carraway led with three RBIs.

PCA will host Benton on Monday.
