Porter’s Chapel Academy defeated Tensas Academy on Friday night in a 6-1 win.

The Eagles got things rolling early with Chase Hearn grounding into fielder’s choice bringing in Gage Palmer for the score. Laken Bradley’s big hit in the second inning led to PCA going up 2-0.

The Eagles would profit from major hits coming from both Gage Palmer and John Wyatt Massey.

Gavin Pugh’s fly-ball single in the fifth inning brought both Thomas Azlin and Hearn in for scores from errors.

Palmer only allowed one hit on the night, striking out 11 batters from the mound.

Massey and Pugh both went 3 for 3 at the plate. Azlin, Bradley, Taylor Labarre, and Palmer had one hit each.
