PCA Lady Eagles come back in second half for 50-29 victory
The Porter’s Chapel Academy Lady Eagles made a comeback after trailing 16-17 against Adams County Christian School at halftime.
After taking PCA into the locker room at halftime, head coach Casey Fisher was able to get the Eagles’ confidence back and they came out blazing, pulling off a 50-29 win.
Yakia Burns led the Eagles with 34 points as they quickly took a 33-23 lead by the end of the third quarter.
In the fourth quarter, PCA controlled the game. They forced several turnovers to take the victory.
Sophie and Olivia Masterson both scored 4 points each, while Burns led the team in rebounds with eight.
The Lady Eagles are now 11-2. They will be back in action Tuesday at 1 p.m.
