PCA puts up 70 points in win over Discovery

Porter’s Chapel Academy found their way into the end zone multiple time on Friday, defeating Discovery Christian 70-6.

Tyler Washington scored three touchdowns for the Eagles, one from passing, rushing and one from receiving. His longest touchdown came from 66 yards where he broke out on a long run.

Quarterback Jace Riggs contributed four touchdowns, putting three in the air and another one on the ground, which helped the Eagles to a 50-6 halftime lead.

PCA didn’t slow up in the second half, and continued to put up points while the Eagle defense kept pounding Discovery Christian. Zach Ashley, Thomas Azlin and Willie Rogers also scored touchdowns in the record setting win for the Eagles.

The Eagles are now 2-1 and will travel to Ben’s Ford Christian on Friday.
