Sophie Masterson pitched the Lady Eagles to victory last Tuesday

Porter’s Chapel Academy freshman softball player Sophie Masterson pitched the Lady Eagles to victory against Terry High School in the June 22 game.

Masterson showed off her great arm, racking up many strikeouts which led her team to a 13-9 victory.

Although Masterson showed out for her team, many of her teammates also stepped up, supplying major hits and run scores for PCA.

Due to their great athleticism and teamwork, the Lady Eagles eventually took home the win in the scrimmage.

PCA will be back in action Tuesday night when they are scheduled to scrimmage against Vicksburg.
