PCA softball season begins in one week

Softball season is just one week away for Porter’s Chapel Academy. The Lady Eagles have been preparing all summer for their upcoming season under fourth-year Head Coach Chandler Upton.

The Lady Eagles went 4-15 last year and are looking to improve things in 2022. Their young roster received plenty of varsity experience in 2021 and picked up big wins over Greenville Christian School and Madison St. Joe.

Next Monday, PCA will travel to Jackson to face Hillcrest Christian to whom they took a 9-4 loss in 2021. A win over Hillcrest in the season opener will put PCA in a good position to start things off.

The Lady Eagles will play a total of four games in week one and will face Wilkinson County Christian, twice against Cathedral and Hillcrest.
