PCA took a 6-1 loss to Tallulah Academy;St. Aloysius fell short against Bayou Academy

Porter’s Chapel Academy took a 6-1 loss to Tallulah Academy on Friday.

Zach Ashley quickly stepped in to strikeout three straight batters. At bat, Thomas Azlin and Gage Palmer both got singles before Chase Hearn sacrificed to get PCA their first run.

Ashley struck out another three in the second but PCA wouldn’t earn a run in the inning which kept the score at 1-0.

TA would tie the game at one in the third from an error as they kept the game tight.

Ashley would continue to throw strikes as the game remained tied at one until Dee Morgan got a RBI that forced TA to take a 2-1 lead.

Two late walks and a single by Hopkins helped the Trojans go up 6-1 which would end up being the final score of the night.

Ashley struck out 13 batters and only allowed one hit.

Chase Hearn got two hits on the night while Ashley, Azlin and Palmer each collected a hit.

St. Aloysius:

The Flashes took a 12-6 loss to Bayou Academy.

Carson Smith went 3 for 4 with two RBIs while Keller Bradley went 2 for 5. Conner Gaul and Barrett Shows each had a hit.

Gaul struck out three on the night. The Flashes will host North Delta on Monday.
