PCA took down Tri-County 59-24 on Tuesday

Porter’s Chapel Academy girl’s basketball team defeated Tri-County 59-24 on Tuesday.

Angel Walton took over the first quarter for PCA as she knocked down a 3–pointer along with a couple more shots while Hannah Henderson and Sophie Masterson both got big blocks.

Up 14-6 at the start of the second quarter, Tiara Sims popped two 3-pointers while Walton hit another one to push PCA’s lead to 26-10 at halftime.

The Lady Eagles came out in the second on a mission to quickly put the game away as Sims continued to knock down shots.

By the beginning of the fourth quarter, PCA was up 43-17 as Walton, Henderson and Masterson all contributed some points in the win.

Sims finished with 33 points on the night followed by Walton who added 17 and four steals. Henderson put up six points and grabbed six rebounds with two blocks. Masterson finished with three points with seven rebounds and two blocks.
