PCA wins their fifth consecutive game in a 5-4 victory over Indianola Academy

Porter’s Chapel Academy pulled off an incredible 5-4 win over Indianola Academy on Friday night.

John Wyatt Massey helped tie things up at one when he hit a ground ball which allowed Gage Palmer to get the score.

By the fifth inning, the Eagles found themselves down 4-1 until Zach Ashley singled on a line drive and advanced to second base while Palmer and Taylor Labarre scored. Massey then went up to bat and sacrificed that led to Ashley getting the run score with the game tied at four.

PCA got the lead after a sacrifice by Palmer where Laken Bradley scored.

As the game went into the seventh inning, Massey struck out Anthony that led to PCA taking home their fifth consecutive win.

Ashley pitched for the first five innings where he struck out nine batters and Massey came in to strikeout three.

Ashley and Thomas Azlin both went 2 for 3 at the plate and Chase Hearn also got a hit.
