PCA’s Thornell and Bufkin named as softball team’s Co-MVP

Porter’s Chapel Academy softball players Raegan Thornell and Marley Bufkin have been named as the team’s Most Valuable Players.

Both young athletes received the Co-MVP Award at the Eagles athletic banquet, surrounded by their teammates and coaches.

Thornell had a .383 batting average this past season for the Lady Eagles while teammate Bufkin had a .356 batting average.

Bufkin and Thornell are both coached by Chandler Ellis Upton. Each of these athletes have many eligible seasons to continuing starring on the softball field.
