Pirate and Princess Party Sunday at the Vicksburg Convention Center

On Sunday, Nov. 10, boys and girls will have a blast at the annual Pirate and Princess Party hosted by the Junior Auxiliary of Vicksburg. The event is from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Vicksburg Convention Center, 1600 Dr. Briggs Hopson Blvd.
“We’re working on putting this event together as something that the entire community can enjoy,” said Junior Auxiliary member Laura Beth Strickland.
“You can bring the kids out. It’s for boys and girls. There will be performances, activities, refreshments—and it’s just a really fun event on a Sunday afternoon.”
Expect some as special appearances as well.
“There will be people dressed up in costumes. There will be singing, acting and a lot of different performances,” Strickland said. “I think the kids are really going to have a great time.”
Tickets are $30 for regular admission and $100 for families, and can be purchased by visiting this link. All proceeds benefit the Junior Auxiliary of Vicksburg projects.

“I think it’s just going to be a really great day to dress up, see people that are really good at performing, eat great snacks and … have a great time, because who doesn’t like dressing up like a pirate or princess?” Strickland said.
