Former WC player Aniya Sanders scored 19 points for Co-Lin

Former Warren Central High School basketball player Aniya Sanders scored a team-high in her collegiate basketball game at Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

Sanders scored 19 points in the 63-49 win over Hinds Community College on Thursday.

Sanders proved what a great player she was during her days playing for the Vikings as she averaged 17 points per game in her senior year. She was also selected as Vicksburg Daily News female basketball player of the year in 2020.

Sanders will lead the Wolves onto the court on Monday as they will travel to play against Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
