Police arrest Vicksburg man on drug charges at Econo Lodge
Officers with the Vicksburg Police Department made a drug arrest Friday at the Econo Lodge on Clay Street.
Police officers were dispatched on a report of drug activity at the Econo Lodge, 3959 Clay St., at 8:58 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18. They arrested Kenneth Walton Jr., 25, of Vicksburg, after a search of his vehicle and the two hotel rooms he had rented. Officers found 170 grams of marijuana and charged Walton with felony possession of marijuana.
Walton appeared before Judge Penny Lawson in Vicksburg Municipal Court Monday, Sept. 21. Lawson set his bond at $20,000 and bound him over to the Warren County grand jury.
