Police have apprehended Blankship and High

Police have apprehended Jonathan Blankenship, 31, who escaped from the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Rankin County last week.
Blankenship was convicted of aggravated assault on a police officer and conspiracy to commit a crime in Alcorn County and was serving five years.
Christopher Benson High, 28, who escaped with Blankenship, has also been apprehended. High was convicted of burglary/larceny of an unoccupied dwelling in Carroll County and was serving 12 years.
Law enforcement asked for help in apprehending the two escapees. MDOC posted rewards for information leading to his arrest of up to $12,500. The FBI offered $10,000 and the Mississippi Crime Stoppers up to $2,500.
