Police report two auto burglaries and a theft
The Vicksburg Police Department reported the following incidents for Tuesday, Nov. 3, and Wednesday, Nov. 4.
Ameristar Casino, 4116 Washington St., was the site of an auto burglary Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 10:03 p.m. The victim reported someone stole a debit card, a Mississippi driver’s license and a propane torch out of his 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer.
Another auto burglary was reported Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the Econo Lodge, 3955 East Clay St. at 6:06 a.m. The complainant stated someone took a Denyo Multiquip generator valued at $2,400.00 out of the bed his work truck.
The Hillcrest Conoco, 3886 U.S. Highway 61 South, was the site of a theft Wednesday. At 9:50 a.m., police officers responded to the gas station where the victim said someone had stolen a 5.3-liter Chevrolet engine valued at $2,500 from the premises.
