Port Gibson and Jim Hill finished with a 12-12 tie on Friday
Port Gibson High School and Jim Hill finished with a tie ball game on Friday with a final score of 12-12.
On the first play of the game, Damion Miller caught a 70 yard touchdown from Cameron Gibson to get the Blue Waves on the board. He finished the game with three catches and 120 yards.
Later on in the game, Gibson would also throw a 35 yard touchdown to Jukwon Fry. Gibson finished with 210 passing yards and two touchdowns.
PG did good in the running game as the score remained tight as Jeremiah Christian led things with 90 yards on 13 carries.
On defense, Lewis Coleman and Anthony Brown were both instrumental on defense as they racked up multiple tackles.
PG is led by Head Coach Harry Brown and they will travel to Hazlehurst on Friday. They are now 1-0-1 on the season.
