Port Gibson boys and girl’s basketball will play for a district championship

Port Gibson High School boy’s and girl’s basketball team will play for a District Championship on Friday after earning big wins yesterday.

Girl’s game:

The Wavettes picked a 38-33 win as G. Flowers led with 21 points and S. Thomas added 14. J. Smith had two points while and R. Washington hit a free throw.

PG will play for the title at 6:00 p.m.

Boy’s game:

The Blue Waves 86-72 win over Jefferson County leading with 21 points and Darrel Hedrick put up 20. R. Davis put up 11 and D. Reynolds had 10.

For JC, Knowledge Ragin scored 36 points.
