Port Gibson native Rankin helped MVSU to a win over North Carolina Central on Saturday
Former Port Gibson High football star Jacory Rankin helped Mississippi Valley State University to their first win of the season on Saturday.
Rankin caught seven passes for 80 yards in the 17-16 win over North Carolina Central. His longest catch went for 44 yards late in the fourth quarter which helped the Delta Devils get close to the goal line.
Rankin is now in his junior season with MVSU and has 14 catches this year. MSVU will face Bethune-Cookman on Saturday.
