Port Gibson’s Thomas and and Flowers selected to play in All-Star Games

Port Gibson High School girl’s basketball players Sa’Mya “Shugga” Thomas and Ger’Kiya “Cookie” Flowers have been selected to play in the All-Star Games.

Sa’Mya Thomas:

Thomas, who recently finished her senior season, was selected to play in the 2023 Senior Magnolia All-Star Game. She has also been selected all district team after averaging 13 points per game, 4.6 assists pg, and 5.9 rebounds pg while helping to lead her team to a region 7-3A runner up finish.

Ger’Kiya Flowers:

Flowers, a sophomore at PG, was selected to play in the 2023 Future Elite (Top 10th graders) Magnolia All-Star Game. Flowers was the first player ever selected in the Magnolia All-Star Game draft. She is an All-District player averaging 18 points per game.
