Porter’s Chapel Academy blows out Discovery Christian 60-0

Porter’s Chapel Academy had a field day against Discovery Christian in a 60-0 win on Friday night.

The Eagles went up 30-0 in the first quarter after a 22 yard touchdown pass from John Wyatt Massey to Ty Mack, a 26 and a 20 yard run from Jase Jung, and a 32 yard touchdown pass to Taylor Labarre.

Before halftime, Massey threw two more touchdowns to Noah Porter and Thomas Azlin to go up 46-0.

In the second half, Zach Ashley broke out for a 72 yard touchdown along with Jacob Ruthann who broke out for 52 yards.

PCA had a total of 465 yards on the field as Massey led with fourth touchdowns and 225 passing yards. Jung finished with two rushing touchdowns on the night and finished with 46 rushing yards while Ashley had 72.

Porter and Labarre led with 66 receiving yards and Devin Allen had 38.

The Eagle defense only allowed 15 yards with Rutland leading with seven tackles. Hayden Beard, Maureon Sims, and Hunter Sims all had four tackles each. Gavin Pugh caught the only interception of the night.
