Porter’s Chapel brought home victories Monday and Tuesday

The Porter’s Chapel Academy boys basketball team brought home two victories Monday and Tuesday against Deer Creek and Tallulah Academy.

Chris Taylor led the Eagles in points. He scored 20 in the 38-20 win over Deer Creek and also had two rebounds, one assist and four steals.

Braden Kapp scored 6 points along with four rebounds, while teammate Ricky Carraway was right behind him with 5 points.

The junior varsity boys also won 30-24. Taylor Osbourne scored 16 points. Anthony McCloud put up 4 points and John Wyatt Massey scored 3.

Tuesday, the varsity Eagles beat Tallulah Academy 51-46.

The Eagles will be back in action Thursday at home against Tensas Academy.
