Porter’s Chapel smashes Deer Creek 61-22
The Porter’s Chapel Academy girls basketball team dominated Deer Creek Tuesday night in a 61-22 win.
Yakia Burns led the Lady Eagles with 32 points. She also had six steals, three assists and five rebounds.
Zy Smith also stepped up for PCA, finishing the night with 13 points along with two rebounds and four steals.
Olivia and Sophie Masterson both put up 6 points each and, combined, had 16 rebounds. Teammate Marley Bufkin played great defense as she grabbed three steals to go along with her 4 points.
PCA now has a 7-2 record. The Lady Eagles will be back home Thursday to play Tallulah Academy.
