Portion of 465 at Eagle Lake to re-open today

A section of State Highway 465 near Eagle Lake will be reopened Monday afternoon.

Bob Broadwater with the Mississippi Department of Transportation says his agency will be opening Highway 465 from its intersection with U.S. Highway 61 to the Backwater Levee this afternoon at or about 1 p.m.

Large trucks and heavy vehicle traffic is still directed to use the route through Onward to the Mainline Levee.
