Pothole disables police vehicle during chase

A pothole disabled a police unit while pursuing a stolen car on Sunday.

According to a report by WLBT, on Sunday evening, Jackson police were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle.

Both vehicles struck a pothole during the pursuit, resulting in the police vehicle becoming disabled.

No injuries were reported. According to the press secretary of the Department of Public Safety, Bailey Martin, the suspect has been identified.
