Power outage at Walmart

Walmart is without power and customers are being turned away.

At 1:37 p.m. a power outage occurred in the immediate power grid closest to Walmart. Entergy notes that 41 people are affected along with Walmart.

Initial information has stated the power should be restored by 4:30 p.m. but the restoration time is subjective and should not be trusted. Often time the power is restored much quicker and on rare occasions, it will take longer than the stated time.

The Vicksburg Daily News has a crew en route to the scene to get an update on the power outage.
