Prentiss retires from the VFD after 23 years

The Vicksburg Fire Department announced the retirement of 23 year employee, Connie Prentiss.

Prentiss has served with the VFD Ambulance Division since 1999.

“Mrs. Connie Prentiss has worked for the Vicksburg Fire Department for 23 years and she  has served in our ambulance division as a valued member of our administrative staff.,” VFD Chief Craig Danczyk said. “Connie was very dedicated to her duties, an outstanding teammate, and someone you could always depend on. We wish her the very best in retirement, and she will be missed by the entire organization.”

On her last day on the job, Prentiss was greeted with family, friends, and co-workers who celebrated her 23 years on the job. Prentiss was presented with a framed memorabilia of the highlights of her 23 years serving the citizens of Vicksburg and Warren County.
