Former United States President Barack Obama filmed parts of his new documentary “Working: What We Do All Day” in Port Gibson, Mississippi.

In 2022, Obama visited Hudson’s Grocery to shoot scenes for the film, inspired by the store’s settings featured in a previous film.

“They did some preliminary filming before and President Obama has seen it and he liked it so he wanted to shoot the part where they were doing some grocery shopping in here,” George Hudson said.

A Claiborne County resident Randi Williams starred in the film which is now on Netflix where Hudson’s Grocery is also seen.
