Problems at the polls? Report it.

With every election, something inevitably goes wrong.

Voters in North Mississippi have reported problems with a voting machine changing votes and with the wrong ballots being distributed at some precincts, reports the Tupelo-based Daily Journal.

These problems are being addressed, including taking the malfunctioning machine out of service immediately.

If you have any issues voting today, whether it’s with a machine or a poll worker, first report the problem to the poll manager. If you’re not satisfied with the manager’s resolution, you can also report issues by calling the League of Women Voters at 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683), calling the Warren County Voting Commission at 601-638-8875, or calling the Secretary of State Voting Hotline at 800-829-6786.

Remember that if your name isn’t on the voter rolls in error, you can still vote by provisional ballot. It’s your right.

Be sure to let us know as well. Send us a message through our Facebook page, and we’ll check into it and let others know.
